Ride Effect was founded in Bedford in 2021 by Raj Bhogal. It began with cleaning cars for friends and family, and one standard that has never changed: treat every vehicle as if it were our own. No shortcuts.

Machine Polishing, Panel by Panel
Raj on the machine polisher with a Range Rover Sport, then the finished panels under the workshop lights. Correction works one panel at a time, taking out the swirl marks that break up a reflection until the light runs clean along the paint.

How Much Does a Car Valet Cost?
A maintenance wash starts from £65 for a small car and £95 for an extra large vehicle. An extensive clean starts from £160 to £200. Prices vary with the size of the vehicle and the location, and we confirm the price before we start.
What Is the Difference Between Valeting and Detailing?
Valeting cleans the car, inside and out. Detailing goes further: machine polishing removes swirl marks and scratches from the paint, and a coating then protects the corrected finish for years.
Do You Offer Mobile Car Valeting?
Yes. We valet cars on your drive or at your workplace across Bedford, Luton, Milton Keynes, Cambridge, Northampton, Towcester and the surrounding counties, and in London, or you can drop the car at our unit.
How Long Does Paint Correction Take?
A Stage 1 enhancement and a Stage 2 correction each take one to two days. A Stage 3 correction takes two to five days, because the paint is polished three times with a panel wipe between every stage.
How Long Does a Ceramic Coating Last?
Our ceramic, graphene and self healing coatings protect the paint for three to five years. Regular safe washes on the maintenance plan keep a coating performing at its best.
Do I Need to Pay a Deposit?
A £10 deposit per vehicle confirms your booking and comes off the final bill. Please give us 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel.

Do You Look After Business Fleets?
Yes. Ride Effect looks after whole vehicle fleets for businesses and works alongside major names including Mercedes. Every vehicle gets the same care as a single car booked in.
Do You Valet Motorbikes?
Yes. A motorbike valet starts from £80 for a moped and £100 for a motorbike, with a high gloss sealant and ACF-50 corrosion protection. A ceramic coating can be added for an extra cost.
What If My Car Is Very Dirty?
Heavily soiled interiors, from mud or sand, can take longer. We will always tell you before we start, and any extra charge is between £20 and £90. Embedded pet hair is removed with our Pet Hair Removal add on, from £100.
